Trim & Molding

Coped corners, no caulk-and-pray. Molding that looks like it grew there.

Molding is the fastest way to make a plain room look custom. We install crown, base, casing, chair rail, wainscoting and paneling — scribed to out-of-square walls and coped at the corners so joints stay tight when the seasons change.

Exactly what we do

Ceiling & crown

  • Single-piece and built-up crown molding
  • Cove and bed molding profiles
  • Coffered and box-beam ceiling grids
  • Crown returns at cabinets, soffits and angled walls
  • Vaulted and cathedral ceiling transitions

Baseboard & casing

  • Baseboard with shoe or quarter round
  • Door and window casing, including craftsman and colonial styles
  • Plinth blocks, rosettes and decorative headers
  • Matching existing profiles in older homes
  • Base removed and reinstalled for new flooring

Wall paneling

  • Wainscoting and raised or flat panel walls
  • Board and batten accent walls
  • Shiplap and V-groove installations
  • Chair rail and picture-frame molding
  • Stair skirt and rake molding

Details that matter

  • Corners coped, not just mitered
  • Scribing to bowed or out-of-plumb walls
  • Nail holes filled, joints glued and sanded
  • Caulked and ready for paint — or we paint it too

How the job runs

  2. 02Written price covering material, install, fill and caulk.
  3. 03Cut and install on site, room by room, with cleanup at the end of each day.
  4. 04Final pass for fill, sand and caulk so the paint finish is flawless.
